Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

Account information you give us: name, email, phone number, service address, and building or access instructions.

Dog information: name, breed, age, photos, care notes, behavior notes, allergies, medication, and veterinarian details.

Booking and payment records: walks scheduled and completed, membership status, and payment confirmations. Card details are handled by our payment provider — we never store full card numbers.

Walk records: status updates, photos taken during the walk, care moments, written recaps, and location points collected while a walk is in progress.

2. How we use it

To schedule and deliver walks, to keep you updated while a walk is happening, to give your walker the care details your dog needs, to process payments and memberships, to respond to your messages, and to keep records required for running the business.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your dog's photos in marketing without your permission.

3. Live walk location

Location is only shared while a walk is actively in progress, and only for the household whose dog is on that walk. Sharing stops when the walk ends. Walkers can pause sharing at any time. Route history is visible to your household and to Puppercise staff, not to other customers.

4. Walk photos

Photos taken during a walk are stored privately and are visible only to your household and to Puppercise staff. They are not public and are not indexed by search engines.

5. Who we share with

Your assigned walker, limited to the information needed to care for your dog. Service providers who run parts of our platform on our behalf: hosting and database, payment processing, email delivery, email marketing, and mapping. Anyone else only when required by law, or to protect the safety of a dog, a person, or our team.

6. Email communication

We send transactional email about your account, bookings, and billing. Marketing email is separate — you can unsubscribe from marketing at any time using the link in any marketing message, and you will still receive booking and billing notices.

7. Retention and your choices

We keep your information for as long as your account is active, plus the period required for tax, accounting, and legal records. You may request a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and data by emailing hello@puppercisenyc.com.

8. Security

Access to customer data is restricted by role, walk photos and location history are stored privately, and payment processing is handled by a PCI-compliant provider. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

9. Children

Puppercise is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

10. Changes and contact
